How to find a hockey player’s profile

The Lad bible, the bible for the internet, is filled with NHL players’ names, ages, sports teams and even their birthdates.

However, you might be surprised to find out that there are a few other hockey players who aren’t as well known.

Here are some of the more interesting players in the game.


Alex Tanguay – The only Canadian born player in the NHL, Tanguy played two seasons with the Florida Panthers in 2008-09 before being traded to the Montreal Canadiens in 2012.

The 27-year-old has played the past two seasons for the Chicago Blackhawks, but is currently playing for the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Tanguey has a 6-2 record with a 2.07 goals-against average and .921 save percentage in 10 games this season.


Chris Kreider – The NHL’s most-capped player has spent the past three seasons with Washington Capitals, but has only been able to make it to the NHL after suffering a career-ending knee injury in November.

Kreider has been a two-way beast for the Capitals, scoring 20 goals and 39 points over the past six seasons, but his career was cut short due to a concussion.

His career is currently unknown.


Ryan Callahan – The Pittsburgh Penguins’ second-round pick in 2015 was signed to a three-year contract with the Montreal Impact in the summer of 2019.

He had a career season with the Impact, but suffered a concussion in January of 2020.

Since then, he has not been able be back on the ice, but the franchise has recently signed Alex Ovechkin to a contract extension.

Callahan has been with the Penguins for the past seven seasons.


Connor Hellebuyck – Hellebidt has been one of the NHL’s best defensemen during his six seasons in the league.

The 22-year old was a fourth-round selection by the Winnipeg Jets in 2017.

He has played for the Montreal Expos and has also spent time in the AHL with the Rockford IceHogs.

HelleBuyck has a 10-8 record with two shutouts and a .923 save percentage.


Matt Beleskey – The New York Islanders’ second round pick in 2010 is one of several NHL players who has played in the KHL this season and is playing for Dynamo Moscow.

Beleski has played at both the Kontinental Hockey League and the Moscow Dynamo this season, but hasn’t played in an NHL game since the start of the season.

Belsek has been in the OHL this past season, where he has two goals and five points in three games.


Jonathan Toews – The Chicago Blackhawks star was a fifth-round draft pick by the Minnesota Wild in 2013 and spent the next three seasons in Chicago.

Toews was traded to Minnesota this past summer, but was able to find some success in Minnesota and then on the NHL level.

He finished his career with the Minnesota North Stars, who he spent five seasons with.


Alex Galchenyuk – The Detroit Red Wings rookie, who was selected in the third round by the Boston Bruins in 2014, has spent time with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Anaheim Ducks, Columbus Blue Wings and Pittsburgh Penguins.

He’s played in four of the past five seasons, with the last season in Buffalo, with three goals and nine points in 44 games.


Patrick Kane – The Washington Capitals star, who had his contract bought out by the Chicago White Sox last season, was the No. 2 pick in the 2015 NHL Draft by the St. Louis Blues.

The 18-year, 28-year time veteran played in just five games for the Blues in his first season with them, but had one goal and eight points in nine playoff games.

He spent the first half of last season with Carolina, where his scoring rate dropped significantly, but he still scored at least 20 goals in every season in which he was there.


Ryan Kesler – The Colorado Avalanche star has been playing in the Finnish Elite League since the end of last year.

The 25-year -old was selected with the second overall pick in 2016 by the New York Rangers.

Kesler has been able a little bit of success in the minor leagues this season with Karpat in Finland, but it was the NHL that brought him back to Colorado this past year.

He was signed by the Rangers for two years and $8.25 million, and is currently third on the team in goals and tied for fourth in assists with 26 points in 46 games.


Nikita Kucherov – The veteran Russian forward has been the best player on the St Petersburg Dynamo for the last two seasons, leading the team to the league championship in 2018.

He is the second-leading scorer for the Dynamo with 26 goals and 41 points in 68 games this year.

‘Marvel: The Avengers’ to become Marvel’s most popular movie database

Marvel Entertainment Inc. will become Marvel Entertainment’s most-popular movie database in the coming years, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Marvel’s The Avengers, which opened May 5, has generated more than $8 billion in global ticket sales, according the Hollywood Handbook, which tracks movie sales.

It’s the third-highest grossing film of all time, behind only Titanic ($13.5 billion) and Titanic 2 ($10.9 billion).

Marvel is also on track to overtake the Walt Disney Co. as the second-most-popular studio in the United States with $2.9 trillion in global box office revenue, according Entertainment Weekly.

Marvel will release six movies a year in the future.

Its library of Marvel movies includes its superhero movies, as well as some movies related to characters from other Marvel properties.

Marvel Studios is currently developing a live-action film with Marvel Television and will begin filming it in 2018.
